People Based Services

People are key to business performance so ISS offers a range of people based services based on our industry contacts and presence. These services compliment our other service offerings and include:
• Ongoing retainer based services – on some occasions after an assignment clients value the ability to have access to support on an ad hoc basis. To cater for this ISS provides a range of retainer based services where clients can access consultancy skills or capability on a ‘’light touch’’ basis for a defined number of days per month. This can prove to be a cost effective way of allowing clients to achieve results whilst developing their own personnel.
• Supply of interim purchasing resources – often we are able to fill such roles through our extensive associate network and the wider range of contacts that we have built up during our various assignments. This allows us to access talent and resources that are not open to most recruitment agencies. Because we have a practical understanding of the skills needed to be an effective purchasing interim we can fill roles at pace with the right candidate.
Recruitment services – these services are wide ranging and include:
• Recruitment of permanent Purchasing resources either directly or through management of such activities using the client’s own preferred providers, for example as part of an exercise to populate a newly designed function.
• Interview and assessment services to benchmark / assess internal capability, perhaps as part of a skills inventory and development exercise for an existing Purchasing function.
• Role based salary benchmarking services, using up to date market data.
• Training services – we offer a range of bespoke purchasing based training services for clients that can be delivered directly or via our approved network of training services providers and which can be key to embedding best practice.
